Community has never been dormant for OFW Cordillerans in Singapore

Singapore - Being away from family and friends to work for a living is never an easy situation for OFW's. Some of those who went abroad are lucky enough to have a privilege to choose their vacation anytime of the year and as much as they want but most are just unlucky and are only given once in a year or once in 2 years leave. Maids, Construction Workers and other professions who are mostly living in-house only get a glance outside work once a week with only a limited number of hours. Lucky for Cordillerans there are several events organised by good fellas to ease the sickening feeling of missing home. One of it is organising a beauty pageant.

 It's been few years since the first beauty pageant for Cordilleran OFW's in Singapore was organised, since then it became an annual tradition. The event normally includes dancing of native dance wearing the native attires, intermission songs and dances as well as speeches. 

 If you're a cordilleran looking for a place where you can feel at home and belong, seek for OFW cordilleran groups, join and enjoy the company.
