The Mayoyao Aguinaldo Alfonso Lista Integrated Organization (MAALIO) of the Ifugao State University (IFSU) will hold the annual turn-over ceremony at the IFSU Review Center tonight, July 31, 2013.
Mario Anggadna Jr., Local Government Operations Officer II (LGOO 2) of the Department of Interior Local Government (DILG), also a MAALIO-IFSU alumnus, will grace the event as the guest of honor and speaker.
Other highlights of the event would be the turn-over of pertinent documents and properties to the new set of officers by previous officers, awarding of certificates of appreciation to the key players of the successful conduct of the Ipad, a cultural show featuring tribal dances and music that was produced by MAALIO – IFSU on September 25 and 27, 2012 as a fund raising activity for the finishing of the MAALIO Office, and awarding of certificates of recognition to previous officers.
It can be recalled that MAALIO also won a cash prize of Ph.P 10, 000.00 last school year in the landscaping contest initiated by the IFSU Administration. The amount went to the same purpose: the finishing of the construction of the MAALIO Office.
MAALIO’s future plans include the installation of electricity in the said office, purchase of a computer set, installation of the office’s ceiling, and initiating and managing a financial assistance program for its members and officers.
The organization appeals for support in any form to make these plans happen.
